The October Classic

For whatever it's worth (which really isn't much) I'm calling a Subway Series with the Mets beating the Yanks in 7 games.

I made a $1 with my boss that the Yankess wouldn't make it (won), and I made a $5 bet with MRG that the Mets wouldn't make the World Series (looking good).

That being said, I also proclaimed that the second round would consist of the Dodgers, Padres, Twins, and Yankees.

I guess you can't win 'em all, huh?

Yeah, I was kind of hoping for a Mets/Padres NLCS, but oh well.

And while I'm still kind of rooting for the Mets over St. Louis, I won't be too upset knowing that MRG will owe you $5. That's almost worth it.
